The winners were Casey Asmus (Wed.Shield), Brian (Scott Clark) 2 wins, Mick Mortimer and Kevin Bartholomeusz. Great to see many of our single figure handicap players present on Wednesdays. It helps the standard of our play. Congrats. to David White for achieving the “holy grail”of a single digit hcp. Tee off is at 6.55am.for the rest of Summer. Register with the pro shop, particularly during holiday periods. Reminder – we have an “informal” 9 hole comp. for veterans only (65+) Ring Ron Anderson or Phil Houlihan for further details.
Saturday: - Men’s & Ladies - Tee times from day break till 10:00 am. Sunday: - This is an open competition day where both men and women play in a mixed field. Tee off time is normally early, around 7.15 am. Wednesday competition likewise is an early tee time.

On Saturday 26th November the playing conditions became unplayable and I was asked by several players to abandon the competition. Unfortunatly when a competition has commenced, play cannot be cancelled! Play can be suspended until the match committee makes a decision as how to

The ‘MYSTERY TRIP’ was played at ‘Goonawarra Golf Course’ on Sunday and I would like to thank Alan Reeve for organizing the event. Unfortunately as there was so much heavy rain around Melbourne the day before the course was very wet – however we all persisted and had a nice BBQ and drinks after the game – thanks to all those who helped out on the day, and I look forward to joining you all on the next away trip.
Our golf club was founded in or around 1945 and was a founding member of the Victorian Golf League. The course changed in 1985 when the Monash freeway was constructed, for some time play was reduced to nine holes until the new front nine matured, which took around 9 months. Shortly after playing the 18 hole course a terrific flood wiped away all but four new greens; more construction and around 12 months later we started in earnest to play the resurrected, challenging 18 hole course.
